Context: The Human Resources (HR) Manager’s responsibilities include overseeing the end-to-end employee experience, including mobilization and onboarding, talent management, employee relations, company policies and procedures. The HR Manager will help shape SYSTRA’s employer brand strategy.
Missions/Main Duties: - Develop and manage talent management programs, such as performance management, talent assessments, employee engagement (SYSTRA Global People Survey), succession planning and resource management to drive a high-performing teams.
- Implement the Global People Survey annually, and spot surveys throughout the year, as required. In partnership with the Learning & Development Manager, lead the focus group sessions for the annual Global People Survey (employee engagement survey) and spot surveys throughout the year, as applicable.
- In partnership with the Learning & Development Manager, lead the annual performance management training sessions across SYSTRA Arabia.
- Develop compensation and benefits programs.
- Manage employment contracts, and all HR-related documentation, to ensure compliance with the local Labour Law requirements and SYSTRA Arabia policies.
- Develop and monitor overall HR policies and procedures for the organization.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues/grievances and present solutions that strengthen relationships.
- Lead employee investigations and provide management with a report outlining the issues, discussions, and solutions. Monitor situations to ensure the investigations are concluded with the appropriate solutions. Liaise with internal legal counsel, as required, to ensure local Labour Law adherence throughout the process.
- Manage stakeholders to ensure that human resources initiatives are delivered on time and to the expected standards.
- Spearhead the SYSTRA Group human resources programs to position SYSTRA Arabia as a best-in-class organization.
- Maintain internal human resources policies and procedures to ensure process effectiveness that promote a healthy work environment.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with the L&D Manager and the Marketing & Communications Manager to effectively communicate and launch new organization-wide initiatives.
- Coach people managers to develop their team members and establish career / learning paths.
- Coach the HR generalists to develop their competency, skill and knowledge base, set objectives with the HR team and tracking progress
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, challenges and offering solutions to strengthen overall relationships.
- Manage vendor relationship, track budgets and negotiate contracts.
- Research and analyze relevant data sources and recommend contemporary solutions to identify current and emerging thinking about values, capability and performance, and design, develop, implement and assess the appropriate solutions that drive changes to culture and practice across the organization.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics, including but not limited to headcount, turnover, leaves, employee and demographics; develop and maintain HR dashboards as part of the reporting methodology.
- Comply with local Labour Law requirements in all aspects of human resource management, while educating managers and employees to protect the best interests of the organization and workforce.
- Drive SYSTRA's values and quality objectives through all human resources solutions and activities.
- Keep updated on human resources trends, developments, and best practices; recommend enhancement to leadership to introduce forward-thinking, industry-leading practices.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 12 years experience in HR, 8+ years in management roles
