Description


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Principal Product Designer to lead and elevate the digital design of our products. As a key member of our new product department, you will be responsible for crafting a seamless and user-centric design experience across all our digital products.


Key Responsibilities


  • Define and lead the digital design vision and strategy for our products, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
  • Conduct user research and translate user insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system that promotes design consistency and efficiency.
  • Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and user interfaces (UIs) that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • 5-7 years of experience in product design or a related field, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality digital products.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications.
  • In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional product development environment.
  • Proficiency in design tools and design systems thinking.
  • A passion for creating beautiful and functional digital experiences.
