EMFI Qatar Group is looking for a "CLINICAL AFFAIRS COORDINATOR" with the following qualifications:
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, medicine, or a healthcare stream
- Certificate or training in Health administration and/or management
- Good written communication and organization skills, ability to convey communication clearly, concisely, and accurately both in verbal and written format
- Advanced MS Office skills to develop effective reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Organized and multi-tasking skills
- Prioritizing workload and meeting tight deadlines with high quality output.
- Team player
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical/clinical affairs, administration, or coordination of clinical competency projects
- Preferably, have experience in the gulf region.
Role/Duties:
- CLINICAL OPERATIONS
- Provide day-to-day support and assistance to the Clinical Competency project ensuring consistency in documentation and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages department support functions related to clinical competency project, planning and implementation of the evaluations, meetings with evaluates, and evaluators, logistics (if any).
- Assist the Department Director and Project managers in planning of meetings, preparing reports, scheduling evaluation rollout, drafting reports and maintaining records/documents related to Competency Evaluations/project.
- Assist in the development/review of clinical competency checklists, planning competency based professional development plans, monitoring training, and developing status reports ensuring the compliance to the timelines.
- Facilitate and monitor Clinical Competency Development projects, assemble, and analyze data for reports and documentation; whilst arrange trainings and/or workshops as needed
- Assist in the preparation of reports & related documents as required to comply with statutory requirements (if any)
- Provide support in developing competency evaluation frameworks/policies and protocols and standards in accordance with local and international systems.
- Coordinates with internal and external partners regarding competency evaluations and development.
- Maintain efficient and effective working clinical operations which comply with the PHCC’s focus on quality services and operational excellence.
- Plan, develop, analyse, and interpret clinical competency evaluations and present data to the Director of Clinical Effectiveness.
- Assists clinical effectiveness director to develop action plans and address identified opportunities for improvement to meet and maintain the international standards for Accreditation Canada (AC) or any National standards.
- Makes professional judgments with administrative supervision, maintains professional growth by attendance at various department, institutional, and external meetings, seminars, and workshops.
- QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMITMENTS
- Demonstrate proactive approach to quality of work by thinking proactively in all the undertakings and take necessary measures to ensure the compliance with standards in a timely manner.
- Identify and report potential or actual non-compliances or deviations from the agreed standards of operation in conducting clinical competency evaluations as early as possible.
- Follow and ensure evidence-based practices in competency evaluations related policies, procedures frameworks and/ protocols.
- Demonstrate effective teamwork and effective communication.
- Partner with project managers, and other stakeholders to understand risks in assigned area of work, develop a plan on how to mitigate those risks, and develop shared accountability for implementing and evaluating the plan.
